From small patches to new construction homes and renovations
These are high end plaster finishes that allow a room to come to life! This requiers immense training to achieve proper installation!
Being a 12+ year installer of Armourcoat products has really shaped the way I see conventional plaster opposed to specialty plaster. Not only is the process much different, it offers unmatched elegance! From matte, rough or smooth limestone appearances to high gloss marble effects, these will truly make your space unique and offer beauty and class to your home or business!
A process that goes back to hard and time consuming labor. Wire mesh gets installed over wood studs in a specific direction to allow proper adhesion for the initial scratch coat. Next is the brown coat which gets built out true and plumb with a straight edge so that the final skim coat can be as true as possible. This replaced wood lath which now metal lath has been replaced with sheetrock. Although its not common anymore, this is a process that every plasterer should be aware and knowledgable of when doing any sort of historical restoration!
Trained & certified EIFS installer.
